As the Royals look for points still, a pivotal match between Scopers and Wombats occurs this week. They are all even, including goal differential, and the winner will surely look to close the gap between themselves and the in form stars of Milgauss. These midseason battles will surely set the stage for the rest of the series.

A Week In Review
The first match of the 2010 Wascally Wombat Social Society Summer Series was underway Saturday as The Wascally Wombats took down the Turkish Royals by a score of 10-4. Andrew McElroy notched 5, tieing the single game scoring record of forward Ryan Terek who also put his name on the scoresheet 3 times. Frank Ferarro made his first appearence scoring a goal and Brian Ciccone netted one as well. Ryan Rovnak and Matt Mrozsek split the Turkish scoreline with two each.
In the second match Milgauss defeated the Scandalous Scopers 4-3. Paul Rogers, PJ Booth, and the Mihaly brothers led the way while Ryan Storkel and Kevin Krumpak kept it close.

DONT TREAD ON ME!
Team Profile: Wascally Wombat Utd

The Wombats look to continue their success both on and off the pitch as they did last year. Starting as an indoor team from playing on the biggest soccer stage in Poland has surely inspired the team and its hopes for the cup. Their roster is a bit different however as midfielder Greg Sabol, defender Bradley Mullis, and striker Jeremy O'Halleran will not be available for most of the season. Regulars like Ryan Terek, Tron Rosselli, Stephanie Ciccone, Alex Tadla, Eric Schultz, Ryan Salata, and Andrew McElroy will be in their respective roles. Look for callups of former Wombats like Brian Ciccone, and Slippery Rock player Sam Robertson as the season begins.
Team Profile: Turkish Royals
Ryan Rovnak heads the squad of the Turkish Royals. I seemed to have misplaced his email so I can't give a fully accurate profile. However, for sure the team has Brian Helbly, Marcel McCree, probobly Kevin Hurtuk, and some other former Bulldog players.
